Will Cooper Mitchell is a photographer and short-film director based in London. He has been shooting professionally for six years, working for the likes of Channel 4, Wrangler, Virgin and Relentless.

In tune with the music scene

Will also works frequently in the music industry, shooting album covers for The Cinematic Orchestra, Grasscut and The Qemists. He has just completed a short film for Ben Westbeech’s new album on Strictly Rhythm Records and a short documentary filmed in Senegal about African lute wrestling is due for release shortly.

A storyteller’s take on photography

Much of his stills work focuses on portraits, with an obvious slant towards documentary. Will’s pictures tell stories, which is what makes them so appealing to both the public and fellow photographers.

Most recently, Will took his unique style to the streets, using the Lumix GF2 to capture a series of photo-documentaries across London and Berlin.
