    Some good advice in this video. Here’s a link to some photos that I took at a local kart track using some of the techniques discussed in the video

    The only change I would make to the advice, is that you should never have the camera still when shooting motorsport or any kind of fast moving action – you should always be tracking your subject for a few seconds before and after taking the shot to ensure you get a sharp result. Perhaps less important at high shutter speeds, but very important at lower shutter speeds or if you are close to your subject.

    Good advice from the video and our expert motorsports guru srhphoto – I’ve just got one question – what on earth did you record the audio on for this video – an Amstrad portable cassette recorder? It’s terrible! Please don’t tell us it was a G series camera or you’re sales of the GH3 are going to slump even more than the price discussion has impacted them!
