On Friday morning while getting ready for work, I looked out of the window and saw a big cloud inversion towards Coniston and thought how nice it would be to be out with the camera. Anyway I checked the weather and noticed the weather forecast on Saturday morning was looking near identical, so I hoped I'd get another inversion. Luckily that was the case. I headed to Bethecar Moor, which is at the southern end of Coniston and has fantastic views and would get me above the inversion. I wasn't disappointed when at the top, no major sunrise but some lovely light after sunrise and the rolling mist made for some really great conditions. Happy days.
