I fancied going somewhere a little different to my usual haunts and as I had the day off on Friday it gave me opportunity to go somewhere a little further afield, somewhere I hadn't been for ages and somewhere where I wasn't happy with the shots I got. So Haweswater Reservoir it was. Its a good 3 hour round trip and not the easiest place to get to from where I live, but its a fantastic place and not as popular as some other Lake District locations. It was a 5am get up due to travel and then a 20-30min hike to get to where I wanted to shoot from. It was a lovely morning slowly watching the sun hitting the tops of the snow dusted Fells.
