One of the many working jetties on Derwent Water, usually this location is best at sunset, so I wasn't sure if this was going to work, luckily the sun rising behind me cast fantastic light on the distant hills, a nice whisp of light cloud and a little frost on the jetty made for a lovely scene.

Another cracking shot Tim, The jetty clearly pulls you into the photo to the lovely reflections of the mountains beyond. Good stuff
Cheers Steve. I do love a jetty shot, bit of a challenge this one as its a bit wonky, think it might have taken a battering after the major floods last year, so it was tricky to get it straight..ish.
Nice shot Tim!! A great capture of the fresh morning light on the Hills.
Thank you Luismex, the light was absolutely fantastic…..best I’ve seen for some time.
Another early start Tim and another beautiful image.
Thank you Geoff, I have a confession, I forgot to put the clock forward on the camera….so it should be 6.52am. It was still a 5am start though. It’s not hard work when you get sights and light like this.
Another super shot Tim. Could live with this on my wall. Love the tranquillity of the scene
Thank you Suzie, Yeah it might be a good one for a print. It was a very tranquil morning, I could have stayed for hours.
Super light and reflections – it’s hard to beat the Lake District, especially on a day like this!
Thanks Maria. I agree you can’t beat the Lakes, the photographic possibilities are endless. It was a stunning morning.
I can’t add anything that’s not already been said, but it’s still nice to hear others appreciate your work/hobby/passion. Nice shot Tim.
I agree Andy, its always nice when people show appreciation in what you do…so thanks for the comment.
A perfect long exposure, and a little mist and cloud to top it all off. Superb! Tim.
Thank you Eddy, that’s very kind.
