I had a run down to the Infinity Bridge in Stockton on Tees on Sunday evening hoping for a decent sunset, which unfortunately never really happened. However, the blue hour was just spectacular! For those that are interested, this image is made up of three separate exposures. One covers the majority of the sky and foreground. A second taken at the same time was used to bring back the detail in the bright orange / yellow part of the sky behind the bridge. Finally a third image, taken perhaps 10 or 15 minutes after those two was used for the buildings etc. I waited that extra time to allow ambient light levels to drop, and thus allow the street lighting etc to come through more strongly. The layers were combined using luminosity masks in PS CC.
