It continues with another picture from my hometown. This photo was taken as a panorama of 9 single shots + a long exposure of the sky because at the time I didn't own a wide-angle lens my property. Sometimes you have to be inventive to get the shot. The building is the Nord/LB headquarters.

I like it. The photograph, not the building which is a real architectural dogs dinner, which looks more at like an industrial building of the 60’s. However, the sharp angles and the stark industrial look work well, contrasting with the bright, soft and somewhat dreamy sky that looks better suited to a sun-kissed holiday brochure. Your efforts to obtain this look have paid off nicely.

Thx, have you been to Hanover? There are some really nice places here, you just have to know where 😉

Nice work once again Sam, the mirrored reflections had me thinking of a busy Asian city but as the eyes move on up the northern European architecture comes to the fore,

There are some nice subtle tones in this pic

Re the building: it’s one of those that are obviously designed to be different, and attract attention. They are often built in towns / cities that have confidence in themselves, and want to make a bold statement. They couldn’t care less if they cause controversy, which I’m sure this one has. All publicity is good publicity perhaps?

Yeah, this picture got reposted by a big Hanover Instagram Page – and half of the people wanted the building to get taken down in the comments 😉
