Alan is a local Herefordshire artist working in metal, often using scrap metal and found objects to create amazing sculptures. He said he won't get rich from his art (like many great artists), but is happy. We visited his workshop during a Herefordshire Art Week a year or so ago, and I just had to shoot a portrait. I only had my 'old' G3 with 14-45 lens, but the IQ and definition is amazing. I'm posting this portrait now, prompted by a talk I gave to a camera club just a week ago. I had this image together with others shot on my full frame Nikon 'work' kit, projected up onto a big screen, and difference in image quality between this m43 and FX portraits was imperceptible.
