An interesting find during a walk. The remains of a WWII radar station framework of a steel gantry, the base of a rectangular radar transmitter/receiver which is no longer there. This framework is believed to be the only survivor of it's type in the British Isles. It seems a shame that it's just being left to decay. The radar site was set up to help guard against surface craft and submarines in the Bristol Channel seen here on the horizon.
