Hello Ray, good to see your still about and still using the G1. It’s been so long since you posted on here I thought you had deserted us for Sony like Roy did. Hope you are well. Good viewpoint with this shot.
Hi Gerry!
No, I didn’t betray the cause, I simply took a long break from the site which, in my opinion at the time, was becoming too overloaded with technicalities and not devoting enough time to the art of photography, using these wonderful cameras.
The standard of picture-taking is quite breathtaking so I’m hoping the balance is being redressed and am looking forward to playing an active part in future!
Great to hear from one of the ‘Originals’, Gerry, although I still miss the wisdom and mentoring skills of Gordon (Simm) – I was still in touch with him up to a week before he sadly ‘disappeared’ in southern Spain and hope that, by now, his widow has achieved closure.
Regards
Ray
Very nice balance to the image Ray and I like the cold blue feel .
Thank you, ady100!
The light in that part of Scandinavia during the winter does lend itself to this sort of effect.
I was rather hoping that I would be able to visit the ‘Millesgarden’ in the summer months but, alas, the itinerary for my visit next week in Stockholm will not give me this opportunity! 🙁
