This has to be one of my favourite views from our Canadian trip. We were advised to visit Moraine Lake either early or late in the day, as the dead-end road to the car park could become choked with traffic during the day. We got there just before sunset and climbed up to the viewpoint, to see the last rays of sun hitting the mountain tops and the scene reflected in the incredibly blue lake. A few moments later, the surface of the lake became rippled and then the sun sank behind the mountains.

Lovely shot, it captures the feeling of being in the high mountains really well
Just stunning. Looks like this should belong in a copy of National Geographic.
