Trying to photograph a small cascading stream and the compositions just weren't working. However I noticed this and yes it is a bit cliché but I like it. This was the event that made me decide to replace my Mefoto tripod which is great if you are on level ground or dry ground. It uses a twist lock system but the bit you twist is the actual foot that touches the ground. This was shot on muddy ground and to adjust one leg shorter than the other two you need to twist the foot which is now covered in mud. Getting hold of the sticky end is something you can avoid with other tripods that have the twist lock higher up on the leg joints.
