Another shot of the Common Blue Damsel Fly having lunch. This one a little later after he'd decapitated the Crane fly.

    Wow, love it Gerry, I still haven’t seen a damsel fly eating anything! Out of interest what eats damsel flys and dragonflies?

      Thanks Janet, our smallest bird of prey, the Hobby, eats Dragonflies.

    Like Jan I Have Never Seen A Damsel Fly Eat Anything and ive seen a few this Year – As usual the Shot of the Highest Standard Gerry.

      Thanks Mark, I hadn’t seen Damselfly eating until this year, now I’ve seen two. One with a Crane Fly and one with a Moth.
