Thanks Linda, Paxton Pits Nature Reserve is a great place to see and hear them around the end of April. This shot from 2013 was the best photo opportunity I’ve had, maybe this spring I’ll get another.
Nice one Gerry 🙂
Obviously a local resident with all those tags on it, or maybe on day release lol
Ian
It’s a corker Gerry – in full voice too, which makes me wish it had sound too, mind…. 😀
Perfectly timed shot.
Thanks Ian, Dave and Kat. Luckily in the right place at the right time.
Brilliant shot and timing.
Thanks Bails.
Great shot, they have a lovely song

Not long to wait now till hopefully they arrive back in Spring Gerry, lovely shot,
Thanks Jane, yes not long now.
A perfect shot, Gerry.
Thanks very much Eddy.
Gerry, remarkable shot. I have only ever seen the ‘shy singing bush’. I will look up the reserve and add it to my list.
Thanks Peter, it has a good reputation for Nightingales.
