    I’m assuming the messing about in Lightroom included the creation of the number of identical birds. The image was a good one, full of atmosphere, and whilst I’m not one to shy away from messing about with images myself, on this occasion I feel the cloning of the birds has only detracted from the image. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth a try. Crop to a letterbox style image, cutting out all but the lowest bird and this image improves significantly for me. That’s my two-penneth Ger.

      Thanks for the feedback Andy, I think you’re probably right about the excess of cloned birds, I might try a bit more playing around with it
