The Way Out. Stairs leading up from a basement, Loch Leven Castle. Possibly built around 1300, the castle was the location of military action during the Wars of Scottish Independence. Today, the remains of the castle are protected as a category A listed building, accessible in summer by a public via a ferry.

Pity about the hand rail…out of place in the photo but I’m sure needed in real life! Great atmos…will add to my place to go list.
