This location features on the Abandoned Ireland web site, it’s the Dun Laoghaire Baths. In1843 the new Royal Victorian Baths were built beside Scotman’s Bay. They were extremely popular and Dun Laoghaire became one of the best and most popular places in Ireland to bathe. But they closed in 1997 and have been derelict for many years. In 2012 the baths were painted for first time in over 100 years , in what’s described as "ice-cream colours". To me the colours look a bit Miami and that’s what I’ve tried to capture in this light.
