The beehive cells where the monks lived on Skellig Michael, 500 years older than Machu Picchu , built by twelve monks , six hundred feet above sea level. The monks sought out the harshest location in Ireland. This is Skellig Michael nine miles of the coast of Ireland. In the background Little Shellig Island inhabited by Gannets only , and the world's second-largest Northern Gannet colony. It’s an amazing sight looks like snow from a distance.
