The Point

Full Size

By BigRed

A good day to mess around with macro shots (not enough light to do much else). The point in question belongs to a hand-made Indian (we think) fishing knife that has been knocking around our living room forever. To create the finished image two locked off exposures were first processed in Lightroom then sent to the Elements v9 Editor and combined. Lighting is via a hand-held torch - playing on a spangled cloth background in one shot and the knife blade in the other. The suitably edgy bokeh is courtesy of the Canon FD50 lens which was fitted with the Raynox250 macro adapter.
