Strange 'Winter' we're having so far. The fresh blossom in this shot was tiny and in order to get the composition I wanted I shot at the absolute minimum manual focusing distance of the Summilux. This is maybe the main reason why this shot demonstrates some unusual artifacts that I've not encountered before with this excellent lens. In particular, parts of the twigs closer to the camera than the focused blossom show a distinct double-image effect. This is by no means a 'fault' but something to keep in mind when taking close-ups in the future.
