I have added a low resolution copy of this picture to my gallery as its story might be of interest to some members. Just over two years ago I had a couple of hours to spend before returning home from a nearby town. As I had my G1 with me I wandered around taking a few photos and this statue outside a shopping centre (watch out for over zealous security staff inside shopping centres) caught my eye, so I took some pictures from both sides trying to keep the background fairly neutral, and exposing for normal or hdr treatment. I submitted two views, front and back, with a few other images to a picture agency and was pleased a couple of months later when I found that this one had been sold. I don’t consider it a very good picture, but you never know when a quick shot of something that catches your eye will be just what a picture researcher is looking for. I keep my old G1 and a couple of lenses in the car boot because like all the G and GF series it can produce files that a picture agency which inspects the whole image at 100% will accept. Anybody interested ?
