I took this in Portugal, on 1 May 2016. It was near Tavira, in The Algarve, at a restaurant / bar. There was loud music, and a 'snail-eating festival' was also supposed to be going on. However, I saw nothing of that part of the festivities. The mood was lively amongst the mostly-young audience, but not unfortunately for this elder gent. He leaves the restaurant with an air of disapproval, typical of Victor Meldrew in 'One Foot In The Grave', the popular British TV sitcom. I was trying out the silent shutter idea, with the aim of grabbing candids. To help with this, I was also using manual focus, setting the focus point quite close to me. In addition, I chose an f-stop and ISO setting that would give me a reasonable depth-of-field. Luckily, the gent was just about within the acceptable focus zone.
