Taken on a trip to Canada last summer. I want to approach this challenge from a different angle. Some cultures, like the American Indian's, sculptured faces on wooden Totem-poles to show different event and emotions. It may embody a historical narrative of significance to the people carving the pole, such as asking the God's for a good harvest, for fruitful fertility and easy childbirth, or simply to let the God's know their displeasure or happiness.I let you interpret what the person felt when carving this, maybe the harvest wasn't to good!!
